The Randy Blue exclusive and his perfect tush will unseat straight male porn star and RB alum Johnny Castle when the January 2009 issue of Men Magazine goes on sale December 7th. Publishers unveiled their 2009 Man of the Year cover model last Friday at MJ’s Bar.

It’s been a busy year for the bubble butted bodybuilder. Reese’s crowning MOY spread marks his third appearance in the magazine this year. He appeared in a threeway photo shoot with fellow Blue boys Chris Rockway & Xander Scott in the November issue. And his August cover spread coincided with a racy YouTube video that went viral and became the talk of the blogosphere.

Reese also made the cover of the recent campus hunks issue of Playgirl Magazine under the alias Nicholas Ryan.

UPDATE: Did you think this selection could happen without the drama? Reese Rideout self-identifies as “gay-for-pay,” making him the third straight man in a row to win the Men Mag Man of the Year title. Some people aren’t too happy about that. Unzipped Media issued a statement:

One of the comments on your blog goes right to the point: Men magazine doesn’t choose the Man of the Year, its readers do. We just count the ballots and take the pictures. We think of Men as an equal opportunity purveyor of beautiful men — gay, straight, and that intriguing area in between.

Where does Reese Rideout fall on that spectrum? Well, we find him a particularly intriguing fellow. Whether he’s shaking his phenomenal ass for fans to play percussion on, hanging out with his girlfriend, indulging in a little mid-party lip lock with fellow stud Chris Rockway, or having hot sex on RandyBlue.com, he’s a warm, sincere, appreciative, funny, and delightfully down-to-earth young man — the kind of guy you’d want to give a blow job to then take home to meet the folks.
